Chaithanya Social Service Society , founded in 2000
has been instrumental in the hands of God in providing shelter ,food
and protection to those poor old aged parents who abandoned by their
Children are as birds of the sky. This institution which was opened in a
rented house with an attendance of thirty inmates in Cherupuzha in
Kannur district of Kerala state was rechristened as Achankilikkudu (Nest
for fathers) and shifted to a place called Pulingom. God also allowed
this society headed by Rev. Davasia Mullakara to open another old age
home for more than sixty old women who were having so many diseases.
More than a hundred inmates live in these sanctuaries of love under the
shelter and fellowship of Athmabhishekam. The efforts, prayer and

being converted to the form of medicines, food and comfort for these
needy people. They live there happily with prayer , small exercises
,garden making ,vegetable cultivation and leisure. Their dreams are
being resurrected here from the ashes of its destruction and failure. |

Chaithanya
social service society is a registered public charitable, non-profit
organization with the main goal of reaching those in need. It was
established in the year 2000 with the mission to care for the destitute
and homeless; this society was the culmination of a long awaited
prayer by Rev. Devasia and the Gethsamane team.
A dedicated team comprising of Rev. Devasia
Mullakara, his family and other servants of God under the leadership of
Pr. Abraham K.J. are always render their help for the service of these
people. Two old age homes–one for women and one for men– a super
specialty hospital and a free ambulance service are run under the aegis
of the society |

Achankillikoodu (shelter
for father birds) – is the old age home run for men. Founded in 2006,
the home was initially known as Chaitanya old age home for men, and was
located at Cherupuzha in Kannur district. It was a truly humble
beginning in a rented building with just 30 inmates.With
the grace of God, the hard work of the team and the well wishes of
patrons, the homes were shifted to a larger location in Pulingome,
housing a large number of inmates. |

A separate home was established for the welfare of women. Ammakillikoodu (shelter of mother birds) is dedicated to the service of more than 60 mentally challenged, orphan and aged women. |
|
The
old age homes are secular – no caste no creed. The old age homes are
dedicated to the service of the needy, irrespective of religion.
Both homes are now run under the guidance and support of Athmabhishekam International Ministries and the well wishes of their patrons. |
